When it comes to planning for the future, matters can be complicated.

To help simplify things, Pronia, as part of its Mazi Palliative Care program, will be presenting a free series of community education sessions titled ‘Plan for the future’.

Organised in collaboration with the Office of the Public Advocate, the sessions are suitable for carers on Advance Care Directive and powers of Attorney. To ensure people across Melbourne are catered to, the sessions will be hosted across three different suburbs including Clayton, Brunswick, and West Sunshine.

The ‘Plan for the future’ sessions will inform attendees on the following:
· Your right to make your own decisions for your life;
· Your right to make your own decisions for your medical treatment;
· What is the document ‘enduring power of attorney’ and when to use it;
· What is the document ‘advance care directive’ and when to use it.

The education sessions will take place on the following dates:
West Sunshine: Monday 13 May
Clayton: Monday 13 May
Brunswick: Thursday 16 May

To register your interest and find out more about the sessions, contact Pronia’s community educators Anton Anagnostou (Thursday-Friday) or Adonis Maglis (Monday) on (03) 9388 9998.

PLEASE NOTE: RSVP is essential, which is why the venues and times are not advertised.
