As a not-for-profit organisation, everything Fronditha Care does is for the benefit of the elderly people they care for in their residential care homes or in the community.

Fronditha’s biennial gala dinner titled “Η ζωή σας η γιορτή μας” (your life, our celebration) took place on 17 May 2019 at Merrimu Receptions in Murrumbeena where over 250 guests attended.

The event aimed to raise much needed funds for the construction of a contemporary 30 bed Fronditha Care memory support unit in St Albans that will provide specialised care for elderly Australian Greeks who live with severe dementia.

At the end of the event an honourary plaque was awarded by Fronditha’s Chair Faye Spiteri to Iakovos Frontistas, who served on the Fronditha board for 39 years and to George Legakis who is stepping down from the organisations helm after eight years of service.
