Following the recent Annual General Meeting of the Hellenic Village on 3 June 2019, the newly elected Board of Directors met on Monday 10 June and elected George Mpliokas as President for the next two years.

Mpliokas, a Marketing Manager for IT company, Olympus Technology Services, is the current Vice-President of the Meteora Thessalias Benevolent Society and a former President and Vice-President of the Macquarie University Greek Association (MUGA).

“I want to thank the whole of the outgoing Board for their efforts towards this project of many years, and I congratulate my new team on their election,” said Mpliokas upon being elected.

“The task at hand is complex and the responsibility is great, but I humbly accept this responsibility and dedicate myself to service in a manner which is open, fair and transparent.
