After three years of service to HACCI as Chair, Georgegina Poulos will retire from the HACCI Board, effective 30 June 2019.

Ms Poulos will be succeeded as Chair by Fotini Kypraios, who has been a member of the Board and served as HACCI Secretary since 2012.

Ms Kypraios paid tribute to Ms Poulos, thanking her for her extraordinary service and leadership.

“Since becoming HACCI Chair in 2016, Georgegina has been instrumental in delivering a dynamic events and networking calendar, establishing the HACCI Young Professionals Network and mentoring program, establishing the HACCI Federation, and diversifying HACCI’s corporate partnerships and alliances,” Ms Kypraios said.

“Georgegina has been an inspirational leader and a passionate advocate in her role as Chair, as well as an invaluable member of the HACCI Board for a number of years.

“The HACCI Board wishes to formally extend its deepest gratitude to Georgegina for her passion, unwavering commitment and amazing contribution to HACCI, notwithstanding the demands of her global executive career. The HACCI family wishes Georgegina every success for the future.”

As HACCI enters its next phase, Ms Kypraios will be leading a dynamic and passionate board, including its newest members John Kallitsas and Vicky Alexiou.

Mr Kallitsas won the 2017 HACCI Professional Excellence Award and is Founder of Diplomatic Privileges of Australia and Salary Masters. While Ms Alexiou is Associate Director of Client Growth at KPMG.

Under Ms Kypraios’ leadership, the HACCI Board will continue to provide premium events, services and opportunities for the Hellenic Australian business community and their Hellenic Young Professionals.

“Together with the Board, I plan to continue our strategic vision for a national footprint and will look to further enhance our member, partner and bilateral trade relationships to ensure that HACCI can continue to add long-term value and service to the Hellenic Australian business and professional community,” Ms Kypraios said.

“My passion for the Hellenic Australian community stems from the values passed down to me by my parents, whose entrepreneurial spirit inspired me to thrive personally and professionally. I am passionate about HACCI as it provides an opportunity for us to pay-forward the opportunities and experiences we have gained as professionals, business owners and leaders.”
