The student winners of the 10th Australian Student Competition will be presented their prizes at the Australian Hellenic Memorial (corner of Birdwood and ANZAC Avenue, next to Melbourne’s Shrine of Remembrance) on Sunday, 20 October at 11am.

The purpose of the competition was for students to learn the events and history in Greece during WWII, and is aimed at honouring the honour of the Australian and Greek men and women who fought and died serving their nation.

This year, 300 students participated in the competition that is supported by the Greek Consulate for Educational Affairs in Melbourne.
