Shakira, the world-famous Colombian songstress, has bought a villa in coastal Peyia, Paphos, according to reports in Cyprus local media.

The property owned by Shakira and her partner, Barcelona football player Gerard Pique, is located on the grounds of a very exclusive luxury resort that is currently under construction and will provide top-end restaurants, high-end sports facilities, a state-of-the-art spa, heated swimming pools, water sports and other activities such as yoga, horse riding and many more.

The couple, along with their sons Milan and Sasha, aged 6 and 4 respectively, will enjoy their six-bedroom, eight-bathroom villa that also includes a home cinema, private gym, jacuzzi, private pool, wine cellar and many other amenities.

The view is breathtaking and overlooks the Mediterranean sea with Yeronissos in the background.

Cypriots that have met with Shakira told Phileleftheros newspaper that the singer is very excited over the acquisition, which was made after a few vacations to Cyprus by the singer who loves the local hospitality.
