Due to its overwhelming success, the Greek Community of Melbourne’s Creative Drama & Arts Group is putting on a second performance of their play Ligi Alitheia (Λίγη Αλήθεια).

This time around the play will be staged at the Greek Centre this Saturday, 22 February.

Directed by Eleni Boukouvala, the play stars actors Konstantinia Gogou, Eleni Baveli, Ioanna Gagani, Panos Apostolou, and Lemonia Schina.

Ligi Alitheia has been praised for its meaningful script, which features stories that are full of messages, encouraging the audience to think and reflect beyond the performance itself.

Written by the actors themselves, the play explores the notion of truth through the concept of loss: the loss of a loved one, possessions, and even moments.

Four actors perform a series of monologues, which are brought together, and connected by the narrator (Apostolou).

Catch ‘Ligi Alitheia’ at the Greek Centre (168 Lonsdale St, Melbourne VIC) on Saturday 22 February at 8.30 pm. For information and tickets, email theater@greekcommunity.com.au or visit the Creative Drama & Art Groups’s Facebook Page.
