La Trobe is inviting youth to its annual “Languages and Linguistics Day” that will form part of La Trobe University’s Orientation Week. The event is geared towards celebrating and promoting linguistic and cultural diversity at La Trobe!

The Αρχόντισσες (“Ruling/Leading Ladies”) dancing group, made up of women of Greek and non-Greek background, is scheduled to perform from 12:30-12:45. One of its members is La Trobe’s former student Susan!

The general public, especially students are encouraged to come and support the ladies, Greek studies, and languages in general!

When: Monday 24 February, 12 noon – 2:00 pm, with Greek dancing at 12:30 and popcorn available throughout!

Where: La Trobe University – Agora (in the centre of the Bundoora campus)

People are also invited to visit La Trobe’s stall at the Antipodes Festival which will operate with the logo “Learn Greek at La Trobe”.
