Fronditha Care has announced an easing of lockdown restrictions from voluntary lockdown to restricted visitation in all its residential care facilities in Victoria and New South Wales that will begin from Monday, 4 May.

The organisation implement a voluntary lockdown process on 19 March that exceeded government guidelines to protect both the residents and staff from the Covid-19 virus. There have been no reported cases of the virus in any of its facilities.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, 28 April, Fronditha said: The coronavirus is currently in a suppressive state. Fronditha Care will be implementing a model of visitation that complies with government guidelines and has the safety and wellbeing of residents, staff and families as its primary concern.”

Fronditha Care has four locations in Melbourne:Clayton South, Lower Templestowe, Thornbury and St. Albans. Its NSW facility is at at Mayfield in Newcastle.
