The second round of the Greek Super League play-offs takes place this weekend after Olympiacos’ emphatic win at Toumba last Sunday.

The team are a short breath away from being crowned champions for the 45th time in their history.

Something that Pedro Martins’ men are likely to accomplish on Sunday’s home game against Aris at the Karaiskakis Stadium but without their cheering fans who are not yet permitted to enter the stadiums due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Meanwhile, PAOK and AEK are on level terms in second place, with their battle likely to be drawn out until the final round.

Both teams have difficult away games this weekend, with the Thessaloniki club taking on the always threatening Panathinaikos at the Olympic Stadium of Athens and the Enosi travelling to Crete to play against OFI.

In the battle to avoid relegation, the interest lies at Tripoli, where Asteras plays host to a rejuvenated Panionios, as the visitors will take one final shot in their attempt to remain in the big leagues, while at the same time Panetolikos welcomes Larissa, with the home side desperate for the points in order to get out of the dangerous positions.
