Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia and the Greek Orthodox Community of Box Hill and Districts Church of the Holy Cross presents Orthodox Easter Traditions activity day.

Children are taught the significance of Greek Easter traditions in the Greek Orthodox church such as learning to sing Christos Anesti, decorate a lambatha and make a palm cross, as well as given a chance to bake koulouria and dye eggs.

The day is suitable for all children of a school age and will give them a hands on approach to Greek Easter.

The activity day will take place Sunday 21 April at the church hall, corner Thurston Street and Carrington Road, Box Hill from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Registrations close 14 April by contacting gocbhd@gmail.com. $5 per child or $10 per family 2 or more children. Funds raised are being donated to the Good Friday appeal.
