Tiktok food blogger mernasfoodfomo has shared what she calls “ALDI’s best kept secret”.
Merna prepared the store bought spanakopita in one of her Tiktok videos that has now been seen almost 40,000 times.
The Urban Eats spanakopita goes for $7 in store and best of all, it’s made in Greece!

The video shows the Sydney home cook baking the spiral pastry and cutting into the “beautiful, buttery and crunchy” pita to show a cross section of the “gorgeous spinach and ricotta mix on the inside”.
Other Tiktok users agree, with one even commenting “It’s the best but it sells out almost as soon as it hits ALDI freezers!!”.
Another user threw in the towel early trying on their own saying, “They are the best. Not worth me making”.
Nothing beats a homemade pita but if you are in a rush the critics are saying this is the way to go.
