Football Federation Australia (FFA) has confirmed the newly built Western Sydney Wanderers Stadium in Parramatta, known as Bankwest Stadium, will host the entire Hyundai A-League final series of the troubled 2019-20 season.

The Melbourne battle between Melbourne City and Western United took place at Netstrata Stadium on Wednesday night, with City coming out on top 3-1.

Despite losing on Wednesday Western United had already secured their spot in the finals, but more battles lie ahead

This Sunday 23 August at 6:00 pm the boys in green and black will go up against Brisbane Roar.

While Wellington Phoenix and Perth Glory will be playing on Saturday 22 August for a spot in the semi finals.

The two champions Sydney FC and Melbourne City will each be playing the winners from this weekend’s elimination finals on Wednesday 26 August. The winning team with the highest position in the final standings will go up against Melbourne City and those with the lowest coming out of the eliminations will battle it out with Sydney FC.

You can catch the grand final next Sunday, 30 August with the kick-off set for 6:30 pm.

The FFA also announced the use of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) will resume during all matches in the finals series.

The Hyundai A-League playoff series, including the grand final, will be broadcast live by Foxtel (FOX SPORTS), Kayo Sports, the “MyFootball Live App” free for Telstra mobile customers and selected matches will be streamed from ABC state television (Channel 2).
