Zo-ee invites you to a special cocktail event at one of Melbourne’s finest venues, ‘The Trust’ to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

“MND is a neurological debilitating disease that affects more than 1400 people in Australia,” says zo-ee president, Karen Bagiotas.

“We formed zo-ee to raise money and public awareness of MND after my mother Olga suffered and died from the disease. It was devastating to watch her deteriorate, with symptoms such as loss of speech and extreme difficulty swallowing. Within 8 months of diagnosis she passed away. It was a hopeless struggle”.

It has been four years since zo-ee was established and in that time they have hosted three cocktail events – the first being at a warehouse in Collingwood which raised in excess of $25,000 for MND Association of Victoria. Through various fund raising activities, including another two successful cocktail events, zo-ee has raised over $80,000!

Motor On 2009, will be held on Saturday 21st of March at 7.30pm at The Trust, 405 Flinders Lane, Melbourne.

With fabulous items for auction, performances by Jessi London, Tim DiStefano and the Solar Flares, international DJ’s Derek K and James Belias and special guest Tony Schibeci, this will be a night to remember.
