Iraklis continued to stun volleyball fans with their impressive performances in the Champions League, coming to the verge of qualifying for the final-four of the competition.

The Greek champions defeated former European champion Friedrichshafen 3-0 in Germany on Wednesday.

They now need just one set in the second leg of the quarterfinal tie to secure their entry to the semi finals of Europe’s top club competition.

On Wednesday they won 25-21, 27-25, 25-18 against a side that proved ill-prepared for the match with the Iraklis.

The win prolonged their European streak to nine wins.
