Sakis Rouvas entertained an estimated 50 000 peple at a concert in support of the environment at the at the Kalimarmaro Stadium last week.
The dynamic and passionate Rouvas and a bevy of dancers entertained the audience with a show which lasted around 90 minutes.
The show included past hits of the artist, the Greek version of the 2009 Eurovision entry and many international hits.
During the course of the show he spoke of the passing of Michael Jackson and paid tribute to the King of Pop’s musical legacy.
Rouvas sang Billie Jean and Earth Song which was appropriate given the concert’s ‘green’ theme.
The support act was the up and coming rock band Cabin 54 who warmed up the crowd with their chart hits.
The concert was organised by the Greek National Youth Committee to raise awareness of the need to protect the environment.
