John Nicolaou to join KULCHA Board of Directors

KULCHA Multicultural Arts of Western Australia appointed John Nicolaou to the Board of Directors.

Mr Nicolaou is one of the state’s most credible economic and business commentators and brings a great deal of local business knowledge and economic experience to the KULCHA board.

He is currently the Chief Officer, Membership and Advocacy at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Western Australia, Western Australia’s peak business association, and is also the Chamber’s Chief Economist.

One of John’s primary responsibilities is to promote a policy agenda that fosters growth and development across all sectors of the economy and society. “KULCHA plays such an important role in the growth and development of culturally diverse arts activities in WA,” said Mr Nicolaou.

KULCHA President, Jenny Simpson, welcomed the addition of Mr. Nicolaou to the board. “John’s knowledge and perspective will be an asset to our organisation. With growing recognition of the many ways that cultural diversity contributes to our community, there is an enormous potential for cross-sectoral growth,” said Ms Simpson.
