The Hellenic Club of Canberra  has established the The Hellenic Club Neurosurgery Research Fellowship.

Her Excellency Quentin Bryce AC, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia will be the Patron of the Fellowship.

The Hellenic Club Neurosurgery Research Fellowship will seek to progress neurosurgery research and will fund current and future Masters and PhD research projects, working closely with the Canberra Hospital and the John Curtin Medical Research School at the Australian National University.

Mr Kazan went on to say that “David Helfgott,(Shine). the great pianist, has agreed to play on the evening of the Inaugural Charity Dinner.”

“The Fundraising Committee of The Hellenic Club Neurosurgery Research Fellowship shortly will be approaching organisations and individuals to secure their support to this project, a project endeavouring to make all supporters very proud to be involved in” Mr Kazan added.
