The mixed social touch competition for the Greek Orthodox Youth of Australia (GOYA) Hellenic Brisbane is back for 2011 and bigger than ever.
With anyone being able to join, this is not only a great way to stay social with the Hellenic youth of Brisbane, but to stay active and healthy. Touch, or touch football, comes from the two rugby codes, Rugby League and Rugby Union.
Although the skills of touch are close to those of these two sports, there is no body contact at all. Emphasis is on running and agility, with hand passing and catching as key skills. Touch is a great mixed sport, ideal for both boys and girls.
The new competition will start on Wednesday 28 September and the competition will finish up just before Christmas. For more info, email touch@goya.org.au
