Cypriot, Greek and Egyptian Chambers of Commerce in Australia joined together to prepare an action plan for the promotion of trade and investment relations between the three respective countries as part of the Nostos III programme for the diaspora.

Cypriot Presidential Commissioner Photis Photiou, Egyptian State and Expatriates Affairs Minister Nabila Makram and Greek Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Terens Quick issued a joint statement to highlight the role of the diaspora in fostering commercial ties with Australia.

“Trade and investment are also an important tool of enhancing diplomatic and business relations between the three countries and Australia, which is also the aim of Nostos. This visit will add another dimension, which is the role of diaspora in the development of trade and investment relations,” the statement said.
