Greek tourists will have even more access to popular islands of Naxos and Mykonos in the Cyclades this year.

The Greek Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy on Friday approved the ferry routes of Golden Star Ferries from the port of Rafina on the mainland to the islands of Naxos and Mykonos, and the company’s routes from Iraklion, Crete to Naxos and Mykonos.

The high-speed ferry ‘Thunder’, owned by Fast Ferries, was also approved  to sail from Piraeus to Naxos and Santorini, stopping also at Anafi and Thirasia. The approval of the latter is on a temporary basis.
