We are now well into the AFL’s 33 games in 20 days.

Last Friday the Blues gave up a lead of 5 goals to lose to Hawthorn and Essendon were left stunned by Brisbane’s performance at Metricon, losing 28-91.

Last Saturday had three games going starting with the ‘Roos who dominated the Crows 119-50, with Majak Daw returning from injury to help them take home the win. St Kilda turned on a powerful last quarter display which reduced Sydney to rabble with a score of 101-48 and lastly the West Coast Eagles managed to just come out on top of Geelong on home ground with a score of 73-64 at the final siren.

Sunday ended round nine with the Giants showing the Suns the door with a 26 point lead and the Magpies left defeated by Freemantle losing 49-61.

Round 10 kicked off earlier this week with Port Adelaide handing the Bulldogs their second defeat in six days on Monday with a final score of 55-42.

The Tigers came out to maul the Lions on Tuesday, ending on a 41 point lead. On Wednesday North Melbourne were not able to keep up their winning energy against Geelong who took home a victory wining 90-57. Melbourne however delivered a scathing performance taking out Adelaide 88-37.

Thursday saw an incredibly close game between the Gold Coast Suns and St Kilda, with the Suns coming out on top with a mere four points. Collingwood was able to snag a win after their Sunday upset, beating out Sydney with a 50-41 win.

Tonight Essendon and the Greater Western Sydney Giants play at Metricon stadium in Queensland.

Round 11 commences tonight from Adelaide with Port Adelaide facing off with Richmond along with the Brisbane Lions battling it out against the Western Bulldogs at the Gabba. Sunday will see the West Coast take on Carlton and North Melbourne taking on the Demons from Blundstone Arena in Tasmania. The new week will then start off on Monday evening as Geelong play St.Kilda from the Gabba and in Perth Fremantle will come up against Hawthorn.
