There’s a new initiative in town, it’s called The Traxi and it is Melbourne’s first same day delivery service.

Behind the start-up, is Greek Australian Rhea Gotsis, who determined to not let the pandemic tear down her spirit launched a new business model while in lockdown, employing 34 unemployed youth.

What is different about The Traxi? Customers are allowed to control their delivery date and the rates are kept reasonable even for the amazing Same-Day Delivery service.

The Traxi is a personalised and more personable service to people in the community with deliveries being a combination to homes for special occasions, corporate virtual events, thank you packs for doctors, sick children in hospital; the list is long.

In hard Melbourne lockdown, thanks to Traxi’s service Melburnians were able to send each other care packages, gifts, flowers, essentials, meals and mail but even more so, the message that we can still be a community and connected to each other regardless of the situation we are in.
