Three years ago, Fan Footy SA made its first appearance on the airwaves at Greek Radio Doriforos, with the footy show being broadcasted every Tuesday night.

Three years later a committee was formed which includes, President Petros Kanakaris, Deputy and Operations manager Pagonitsa Mavromoustakis, Chairman of the Board George Dimopoulos, Events Coordinator John Kalkanis and Chief World Changer George Diakomichalis.

Their mission is to raise funds for The National Breast Cancer Foundation.

On 4 October at 1:00pm, Fan Footy SA will play the SANFLUA AFL umpiring association at the historic Thebarton Oval, to help raise funds for The National Breast Cancer Foundation. Both teams will be wearing the famous pink guernsey which will represent all the women who have been affected by breast cancer.

“One in seven women will be diagnosed with breast cancer, these statistics are absolutely mind blowing,” Mr Kanakaris said.

“Together we can help put a stop to people dying from breast cancer but we need everyone’s support. The National Breast Cancer Foundation has a goal, that by 2030 they want no more deaths from breast cancer. So, we ask you to come show your support on the fourth of October, enjoy this wonderful event and lets all make a difference.”

For those who may not be able to make it on the day, Fan Footy SA will be broadcasting the event live on social media. You can catch on Facebook, YouTube, the Greek Radio Doriforos app, and on the Greek radio Doriforos website at www.doriforos.com.au.
