The Reds were given an extra leg up due to an incredible 4-4 match between PAOK and Volos.

After six games Olympiacos have racked up 14 points after Sunday’s match against Giannina. In one of the seasons more spectacular matches, PAOK came crashing down from a three goal lead against Volos to end on a 4-4 draw.

Volos’ Tom van Weert kicked off the first goal of the match in the 13th minute, but PAOK came blazing through in the first half of the match after Fausto Grillo equalised the score with an own goal. with the playing field level once again, Chuba Akpom took a successful strike at 30 minutes, before Andrija Zivkovic came in at the 32nd and 42nd minutes to bring PAOK up to 4-1 by the end of the first half.
