The OECD figures show how much an hour of work in each country contribute to that nation’s GDP.

The infographic shows that an average hour’s work in Australia contributes $61.3 compared to $37.2 in Greece. Ireland is the leader when it comes to productivity in relation to the GDP with a contribution of $109.5 on average.

By comparison, an average worker in Mexico won’t be as productive in GDP terms as the average person toiling away in Ireland, with just a $22.2 contribution.

Siatista’s infographic below gives a great visual representation which shows the productivity:GDP contribution ratio.
