Entries are now open for the Greek-Australian Cultural League (GACL) Literary competition for works written in Greek and/or English by writers who are over 18 years of age and reside in Australia.

The competition which has two categories, Poetry and Short Story, is aimed at reaching the widest pool of writers Australia wide and also gives friends and members of the league the chance to present their unpublished work by Friday, 24 June.

The winning entries in each category in each language will be published in Issue Number 68 of the GACL’s annual bilingual periodical Antipodes with the announcement of the winners being made in October at a special function that will incorporate the periodical’s launch.

It should be noted that each competition entry can only be sent electronically by email to gaclitcomp@gmail.com. You can use the same email address to find out more about the competition rules and to receive an application to take part in the competition. Alternately, the registration form and competition rules can be downloaded from the GACL website at www.gacl.com.au
