George Kambosos Jr is prepped getting ready to defend his four belts against American David Haney at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on 5 June has been given support by the Antetokounmpo brothers.

The fight has dubbed a “superfight” and “the biggest fight ever in Australian history” set to take place in front of 50,000 spectators.

“June 5th is not only for myself but for my country – Australia and Greece, we will continue to shine on the world stage and be victorious,” Kambosos Jr said.

“I’ve got all these beautiful belts but that’s not what it’s about. It’s about my legacy, and for the love of the sport and the love of fighting.”

Kambosos Jr holds the WBA, WBC, WBO and IBF belts.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph on Thursday, the Greek Australian stated he is determined to win.

“The scary thing for Haney is I have gotten better. I have more speed, more power, more conditioning, better footwork… I have gone to a new level,” he said.

“My body is also in prime condition. I’ve gotten hungrier and more obsessed.”

“I went overseas to fight Lopez and came back with these beautiful belts. I am the top dog now and when I beat Haney, I will put the full stop on this and be the undisputed champion,” he added.

Kambosos Jr also has the full support of NBA champions Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo who don’t miss a chance to share the fighter’s updates on Instagram.

Kambosos Jr recently shared an Instagram story posted by the two brothers on his Twitter:

“We want to say to our friend George good luck in the fight on 5 June. We will be watching. You make us all proud,” Thanasis is seen saying in the video.

“Keep it up hard my boy. Let’s go hard!” Giannis cheers.
