Giannis Antetokounmpo touched the hearts of Greek fans around the world posting a photo of him and his two sons on their annual Acropolis visit.

The NBA superstar always prioritises time with his family and wants to instill appreciation for Greece and Hellenic history in his two boys.

“Our annual Akropolis visit”, he captioned the photo on Instagram where he is seen holding his sons, aged 2 and 10 months.

The “Greek Freak” was enjoying a weekend in sunny and warm Athens after some losses on the basketball court for Milwaukee.

“No matter what happens, you grow from it,” Giannis said ahead of Game 7. “I remember in 2018 we lost to Boston in a Game 7. I didn’t have the best game, but you learn from it. You learn what the atmosphere is like, when the ball gets heavy. So, no matter what happens, we’re gonna leave that game and we’re gonna be better. If we’re gonna be the team advancing, great, I hope so, we’re gonna play hard. If not, at the end of the day, we’re gonna learn. We’re gonna learn from this. We’re gonna be better.”

After the stay in Athens, Antetokounmpo will be spending the rest of the summer holiday with his family in the Peloponnese, where he has bought two Costa Navarino Residences.
