A total of 28 lighthouses across Greece will be open to the public on Sunday 21 August, in celebration of International Lighthouse Day 2022.

They will be open from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, and people will have the opportunity to learn about the contribution of lighthouses to navigational safety and their significance as cultural heritage.

International Lighthouse Day is celebrated annually on the third Sunday in the month of August.
