Two strands of funding applications are open as part of the South Australian government’s Multicultural Grants Program 2022-23 aimed at supporting the state’s multicultural communities.
The Expand Together grants are aimed at helping multicultural organisations to expand their capacity through upgrading their community facilities or buying equipment that meets the needs of the community. The priority in this second Expand Together round is for investment in security upgrades, community infrastructure and transport.
Applications for Expand Together grants are now open and will close at 11pm on 31 August.
The second strand of funding, the Celebrate Together grants are to assist multicultural organisations to host festival and events to share their cultures, customs and traditions with all South Australians. Under Celebrate Together grants of up to $5,000 will be made available to applicants for festivals and events that will be held between 1 January, 2023 and 30 June, 2023.
Applications for Small Grants (Round 2) which are open now will close 11pm on 30 September.
