The “Trifylli” has the task of restarting their winning run after their draw to Olympiacos officially ended their perfect start, with Panetolikos their first target as they look to strengthen their title push.

Panathinaikos travels to take on the Agrinio club on Thursday morning (AEDT) as they search for maximum points in the 12th round of the Greek Super League.

Panetolikos will have to be wary of their opponents who are yet to be defeated this campaign, with the Greens remarkably avoiding a derby loss last round via an injury time penalty.

Luis Palma’s hat-trick spearheaded Aris’ 5-0 home demolition of Lamia in the opening game of the matchday on Wednesday morning.

Centre half Fabiano kicked off the night with a headed goal following a well-worked corner movement (17′).

The Fthiotida side were given a major early disadvantage when midfielder Danny Bejarano was given two yellows in immediate succession for a poor foul and for then arguing the decision (20′).

Aris capitalised on this with Palma scoring twice before the break, first with a strike in the 33rd minute and second via a brilliant curling strike into the bottom right (36′).

The winger then bagged his third with a powerful first-time effort into the left side of the goal (58′) before striker Andre Gray capped off a great outing for the hosts with a composed finish into the bottom right (90+1′).

AEK battles OFI at “Agia Sophia” Stadium on Thursday morning and they will be just as hungry for victory after a draw last matchday cost them a golden opportunity to gain ground on the league leaders.

Olympiacos goes away to play Levadiakos in a match they will be desperate to win after their disappointing European exit was compounded by an unfortunate derby result, which saw them just miss out on defeating their archenemy in their own backyard.

Atromitos (8th) clashes with Asteras Tripolis (9th) at home in an evenly-matched contest which could see the visitors jump ahead of their opponents on the ladder.

PAOK makes the trip to face Ionikos on Friday morning, with the Thessaloniki giants looking to record back-to-back successes for the first time since August after a largely inconsistent season thus far.

Volos hosts Giannina and the Magnesia outfit will be hoping they can get back to winning ways, having lost and drawn their past two matches following an impressive five-match streak of victories.
