Dimitri Valkanis, the son of former Socceroo Michael Valkanis has turned heads in Athens with AEK’s U17s and then U19s. The ex-Melbourne City rookie has been called up to the Greek national team.
His father Michalis Valkanis shone with Hellas Melbourne, as well as in Greece. As a coach he cut a remarkable path and made it as assistant coach of the Greek national team.

The Hellenic Football Federation announced the names of the football players whom the national team coach in the youth category (K19), Tasos Theos, has called for training sessions to be held at the facilities of the National Sports Centre. Youth in Agios Kosmas, from Tuesday, 6 to Thursday, December 8, 2022.
