PAOK is preparing for a grand meeting against Olympiacos and, with both teams locked on 42 points, each club has a great opportunity to steer ahead into third place.

The Double-headed eagle of the North takes on the Piraeus giants at “Toumba” Stadium on Monday morning (AEDT) in the blockbuster fixture of the Greek Super League’s 21st round, with a win putting either side three points clear.

The Thessaloniki club is hoping to complete the league double over Olympiacos, having beaten them in the reverse fixture at “Georgios Karaiskakis” ground.

Since then, the reigning premiers have gone on a 12-match unbeaten run and a victory over PAOK would be the perfect revenge for their disappointing loss to them earlier in the season.

AEK travels away to face Atromitos as they look to consolidate their place as league leaders after claiming first place last matchday.

Panathinaikos, meanwhile, is seeking to end their recent form slump (three league losses in their last four outings) with a comfortable success over Lamia at “Leoforos” Stadium.

Panetolikos hosts Asteras Tripolis in a tough battle between 8th and 9th, with the Arcadians in particularly good spirits following their 1-0 win against the “Trifylli” last round.

Aris makes the trip to play last-placed Ionikos on Sunday morning in a must-win game after suffering three defeats in their last five matches, while the Nikaia outfit is hoping to build upon their league triumph last weekend which was just their second of the campaign thus far.

OFI competes with Giannina at home in another tight encounter between 10th and 11th and, with both sides level on 19 points, this is a great chance for either team to create some distance from the other.

Levadiakos challenges Volos at home in the closing clash of the round on Tuesday morning, with the Magnesia outfit eager to bag all three points after winning just once in their past five matches.
