Aspiring entrepreneurs have until 30 June to register the NxGenStartups programme which is party funded by the federal government.

NxGenStartups is a start-up accelerator programme that was developed in conjunction with Connections Australia (who developed a multilingual app to connect migrants to jobs, information and services) MultiConnexions (a multicultural marketing and advertising agency) and InQ Innovation the global, mentor-driven goal-oriented virtual accelerator programme.

The programme, which is part-funded by the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources, aims to promote entrepreneurship in Australia and equip pariticipants (founders) with “unique one-stop innovation ecosystem by providing bootcamps, expert masterclasses, mentor and advisory support, and access to a network of industry and investor connections, to help entrepreneurs set up their business and scale globally.”

Rinku Razdan, founder and CEO of Connections Australia, said: “NxGenStartups is currently open to aspiring or existing migrant business owners and entrepreneurs, including those who were born overseas or have parents who were born overseas. Registrations for the program close on June 30th. We encourage people to sign up to join the 2021 cohort before the deadline closes.”
