PASOK is returning to government as a result of a substantial landslide which saw PASOK emerge with a clear cut majority of 160 seats, according to the latest electoral results from the Greek Ministry of Interior.

On current trends there has been a 8.2 percent national swing away from New Democracy and a decrease in the support for both KKE and SYRIZA, with 98 percent of the Greek vote counted.

The clear winners have been PASOK which enjoyed a swing of 5.8 percent and the far-right wing LAOS who have increased both their share of the national vote and the number of seats they will enjoy in Parliament.
