It was only a matter of time before a cheesy reality show took advantage of Greece’s immaculate Cyclades islands.

From Temptation Island to Survivor, picturesque foreign lands are sought after in the reality biz.
Not only do audiences get to marvel at the hilarious situations the contestants are placed in, but they also get the added bonus of fixating on a breathtaking backdrop.
The latest such endeavour to come out of the reality think tank is Perfect Catch, a competition show filmed from six of Greece’s most beautiful islands.
The series focuses on four of the hottest men and women from around the world battling it out to find the ‘perfect catch’.
The eight contestants will be island-hopping some of the Aegean’s most precious gems to literally catch their soul mate.
Mykonos, Paros, Rhodes and Santorini are just four of the six island sites that will feature in Perfect Catch, hosted by U.S. actor and entertainer Carmen Electra.
The first contestant to find their ‘perfect catch’ will win a $US50,000 prize.
Electra will lead the eight hopeful singles on their quest for love, and the provocative presenter has plenty of kind things to say about shooting on location in Greece, “The Greek islands are just beautiful. If you’re going to find sexy gorgeous people anywhere in the world, it has to be there.

In an interview with Sky.com, Carmen Electra talked more about the Greek islands and shared her views on love and finding ‘the one’.
When asked how important she believes looks to be in a relationship, she answered honestly by saying, “Looks are important, but I think that confidence is the most important thing because it’s sexy. If you’re confident you automatically appear more attractive.
“So if you want to find your perfect catch, I say be prepared. Think perfume, lip gloss, and a pair of killer heels to show off the legs – and of course a sexy air of confidence”.
Electra also revealed that each contestant producers of the show threw in some exciting challenges for the contestants of Perfect Catch, “Each week one or more contestants will be at a disadvantage to the rest.
“It might be that some contestants have to find their perfect catch on a family beach instead of a party beach. Or some contestants may get help from locals on the island. It could be anything.
“But it’s crazy and fun!” The attractive host confessed that there is no one place on earth she considers to be the ‘sexiest’, although she does believe the Greek islands and all the people there are definitely sexy.
Coming from one of the entertainment industry’s most sexy entertainers, this is not a bad feat for our humble isles.
After filming the show, Electra plans to head back to the United States to get back on stage in her Cabaret show in Las Vegas.
