Hawthorn Spartans played an impressive first practice match last Saturday 21 March, resulting in a huge victory against Old Brighton.
The Spartans managed to get 119 points ahead of Old Brighton, finishing with a 159-30 score.
The team are have been working hard to get themselves season ready, and have been training weekly since the start of the year.
The new season is due to commence on Saturday 11 April.
