Greece’s most popular museums and archaeological sites will be open for longer from Wednesday.

The extended timetable, introduced for the first time last year, will run until October 31.

Sites, including the Acropolis, Sounio, Vergina and Delos, will be open from 8am to 7pm, while museums will open their doors at 8am and close at 8pm.

The only exception to this will be on Sunday, April 5, when sites and museums will close early in the afternoon.
