Semaphore’s 37th Greek Cultural Festival is set to hit the foreshore this weekend with two days of Greek culture.

Taking place on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 January, the event is an opportunity for community members of all backgrounds to get together in a family-friendly atmosphere.

There’ll be Greek community dance group performances, live music and traditional food and sweets on offer. Greek Australian journalist George Donikian will be the official MC over the two days.

Established by the Greek Community of Port Adelaide, last year the event attracted a record 32,000 people, with similar numbers expected in 2016.
