The Australian Football League (AFL) and Greater Western Sydney GIANTS Football Club is looking to appoint a volunteer coaching intern for a 10-week program due to commence in June.
This is a rare and intimate opportunity to learn about AFL coaching within an elite sporting environment.
To be considered, you must have the following:
· An interest in sport and a desire to learn
· Experience coaching male or female teams (desirable but not essential)
· Understanding of AFL would be preferred but is not essential
· One or more parents born overseas (preferably from a non-English speaking background)
· Highly developed and demonstrated team skills
· An interest in learning the skills associated with becoming a lifelong fan of AFL and an AFL Coach at a Community Club
· Moderate computer literacy
