One of Greece’s finest talents, Notis Sfakianakis, will be performing one show only in Melbourne on Saturday June 20 at the Hisense Arena (formerly Vodafone Arena). Tickets have gone on sale, and are selling like hot cakes.

Drawn to music from a very early age, the often considered controversial Sfakianakis was born in Crete and discovered by the General Manager of Sony Music in Greece only shortly after his talent began to bloom.

His debut album First Time made it into the top ten of the national charts, as did the single Proti Fora.

Since the early days, he has experienced continuous success with well known singles such as Soma Mou and Genethlia.

In 1994, his album In the South East of the World went double platinum and sold over 150,000 copies in Greece alone.

Further to this achievement, his 1998 album release Notes are Immortal went platinum on the day of its release and by 2001 it had reached five times platinum.

Sfakianakis is one of the most successful singers of his time in Greece.

He was last in Australia in 1996 when he performed a sell out tour, so get in fast for this one off experience you will not forget.
