To honour the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Crete, Philhellene Provincial Greek cuisine restaurant, in conjunction with the Pan Cretan Association of Melbourne, will hold an information evening this Wednesday (May 4) at 7pm.
The evening will be hosted by the historian and author of numerous war novels, Garrie Hutchinson, while war memorabilia and artefacts such as uniforms, original photos, medals and more will be on display throughout the evening.
The information session will be followed by dinner, beverage (Cretan raki) and live music from guest musicians direct from Crete. The cost is $50, all inclusive, and bookings are essential.
