Last week, Agapi Care Inc. held their annual fundraising radiothon, raising a total of $135,000. Deputy manager Mr Andreas Haralampidis and executive director Vicky Papadopoulos announced that the money will go towards Agapi Care’s new development in Clayton.

Of the total sum, $73,000 has been donated from a will, while $5000 was offered to the charity from the Bank of Cyprus by Mr John Alexopoulos. Agapi Care is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to support children with disabilities and their families to allow them to live a fulfilling life in the community. Currently the organisation provides a variety of services to people with disabilities in their care facilities in Preston and Oakleigh.
