Greece’s broadcasting watchdog announced last week that it was banning Antenna TV from broadcasting the controversial program The Moment of Truth any longer.

In a majority decision, the National Television and Radio Council (ESR) decided that the show, in which contestants are required to answer revealing questions about themselves, should not be broadcast anymore because it was offensive and demeaning for participants.

Antenna TV has accused the ESR of censorship and of compromising freedom of expression.
