Sony have released a firmware upgrade to their 2011 range of Bravia Smart TVs which will provide even more content and services. The upgrade will allow users to access HD YouTube videos and Facebook content (including photos, videos, and shared links).

They’re also including a lite version of their Remote Keyboard app, previously exclusively available on the Vaio PCs and Xperia smartphones. You will also be able to receive live Twitter updates and even use Shazam to determine song names and artist information of music played during TV shows or commercials.

The upgrade is available now and is free of charge.
