Two members of the Comanchero outlaw motorbike gang were sentenced to at least three years in jail for their roles in a gang clash at Sydney Airport that left one man dead.

Ishmail Eken and Usama Potrus were sentenced on riot charges in the NSW Supreme Court this week for their involvement in the 2009 incident which lead to the death of Hells Angels associate Anthony Zervas.

Justice Robert Hume told the court both Eken and Potrus were equally involved in the riot although they did not incite violence or arm themselves during the bloody incident.

“The fight that took place, although short-lived, was shockingly vicious,” Justice Hume said.

Having already served time in custody, Eken will be eligible for parole in April and Potrus will be eligible for parole in July.
