Jet-setters Eugenie Niarchos and ‘Princess’ Maria-Olympia of Greece are two of the ambassadors Diane Von Furstenberg (DVF) has chosen for its 40th anniversary campaign.

The DVF fashion house and especially the iconic wrap dress is all about representing a dynamic, yet feminine woman. The Belgian-born American fashion designer chose Eugenie Niarchos, because she sees in her a promising young designer loaded with heaps of creativity.

Eighteen-year-old Maria- Olympia, on the other hand, whose parents are Crown Princess Marie-Chantal and Crown Prince Pavlos, is quickly becoming the new royalty Instagram sensation. Her unique sense of style has gotten her a feature in W, donning haute couture ensembles.

Diane Von Furstenberg has herself been a jet-setter all her life, reigning the wearable world of fashion since relaunching her fashion company in 1997, but also as wife of Prince Egon since she married into the German House of Furstenberg. For her trademark’s 40th birthday, aside from holding several exhibitions, she launched a year-long digital anniversary photo-shoot for the wrap dress, which is billed as a high-fashion version of the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants.

The two Greek women pose among famous models, actresses and fashion icons in a DVF wrap dress. Diane Von Furstenberg unquestionably sees a little bit of herself in shipping heiress Eugenie Niarchos and outfit sensation ‘Princess’ Maria-Olympia.
