While festival season is drawing to a close, it is not over until Perth gets its own Glendi Festival bringing the best of Greek food and culture to Western Australia.

Taking place at Elizabeth Quay from 21-22 April, attendees will have the chance to enjoy an array of Greek dishes both savoury and sweet, along with cooking demonstrations to teach those interested how to recreate the flavours in their own kitchen at home.

There’s a line-up of entertainment scheduled, including musicians, singers and dance groups, along with plate smashing, and rides for the kids. There will also be a beach-style chill-out bar set up and market stalls to peruse.

This year organisers are also hoping to break the record of the ‘World’s Largest LiveLighter Zorba Dance’.

The Perth Glendi Festival is set to take place at Elizabeth Quay on Saturday 21 April from 3.00 – 10.00 pm and Sunday 22 April 11.00 am – 8.00 pm. Admission is $2.00 per person and free for children under 12.
