Adelaide’s Hellenic cultural festival Odyssey is set to return next month for the 14th year, celebrating Greek culture in South Australia.

Presented by the Greek Orthodox Community of South Australia, the Festival kicks off on 4 October, and runs until 17 November.

This year’s theme is ‘Education Through Greek Arts’, with a program that features an array of cultural events and productions from both Australia and Greece, with something suitable for every age group and taste.

There will be different mediums of art being exhibited, including sculpture, painting, handicraft and costumes. A variety of comedy theatre productions will be staged, along with a special music dress up night, dedicated to Greece’s golden era of music and fashion.

Odyssey Festival coincides with the 26th Delphi Bank Greek Film Festival, where cinephiles will have the chance to watch the latest films from Greece at Palace Nova cinemas.

“We invite the whole community to come celebrate with us and enjoy every aspect of Hellenism through the arts and entertainment,” says General Secretary Peter Ppiros.

The official program, along with other relevant announcements, will be published soon.

When: 4 October-17 November
